It’s been absolutely freezing on Long Island these past few weeks that I have been home. There’s nothing I love more about this weather than cozying up in some of my favorite oversized sweaters with a cup of green tea, but making an oversized sweater not look frumpy and boring during these winter months is definitely a challenge. This Fashionista’s outfit does the complete opposite.

Her classic cream oversized cable knit cardigan is definitely the center of attention and my favorite part of this whole look. I love how she layers it over a basic maroon T-shirt that has a subtle metallic geometric pattern. This classic neutral color combination allows to add more details in the accessories. By layering two statement necklaces, bringing out the metallic in the T-shirt and the cream color of the cardigan, definitely makes this whole outfit pop without adding more color. Don’t be afraid to layer your necklaces by mixing and matching them! I love layering necklaces myself and always try to add it to my own personal style. It brings a different element to an outfit, making this oversized cardigan totally stand out. Keeping with the neutral theme her color-block Tory Burch espadrilles pair perfectly. This brings a summery accent to this winter look, allowing you to still wear your summer favorite in the colder seasons.
