STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Revamp Your Romper

Whether it is just a luncheon with friends or a stroll through the city, piecing together the perfect outfit for any occasion can turn out to be way too complicated, especially when a spring-to-summer transition is involved. With that being said, this Fashionista found a way to keep her wardrobe simple with one staple piece: a romper.

Rompers are one of the most adaptable pieces in a wardrobe as long as they are styled with the right accessories. No matter the material or detail, they can be worn comfortably in 50-degree or 90-degree weather along with being dressed up or dressed down. While spring and summer collections are usually focused around color, we don’t always have enough time to focus so much on our outfits. Wearing neutral pieces, however, allows for much less of our time and effort toward adding the right details for the perfect, last minute look.

This Fashionista created a casual, gypsy look as she styled her white romper with a fringe detailed kimono. Not much additional detail was necessary to complete this outfit, but the layered necklace set was the perfect accessory to complement the simplicity of this look while the black Steve Madden booties were also a great additional piece as we are in this transitional phase from spring to summer.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK?: “When I style an outfit, in all seasons and for all occasions, I focus on comfort and simplicity which is why a romper is always my go-to piece along with additional details to create various looks.”
