While it is still very chilly here at Georgia State, it’s never too early to start preparing for this upcoming spring season. Spring is often associated with a fresh start and in fashion it brings floral prints and bright colors. Pastels are a big trend during the spring because it is colorful and classic. This Fashionista was spotted on the way to class with a perfect transition outfit from winter to spring.

She sported a light pink textured crop top and paired it with a pair of light wash gray jeggings. The pink and the gray complemented each other well, matching dark and light. Because it is still cold, she decided to pair the outfit with a pair of brown fringe boots. She had minimal accessories, wearing only a necklace and stud earrings. She wore darker nail polish, which is a great contrast against the overall light outfit.

The great thing about pastel colors is that they can be adapted into many different styles. This Fashionista opted for a more casual, every day look but it can easily be altered for a preppy look or a more classic look.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Definitely to dress for the occasion and to your comfort level. I think it’s very important to consider location whenever picking out an outfit. Even though they say you can never be overdressed, it is possible to be dressed up or dressed down. Don’t wear something gaudy and uncomfortable to class because then you will look awkward.”
