STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Comfort is Key

Although most students have been living in the land of milk and honey (AKA home) for the past month, we Drexel students are just now wrapping up finals before the summer. That being said, the art of dealing with finals week while still managing to be cute in the heat has been practically perfected. In my opinion, summer fashion can be one of the more difficult seasons to style because less is most definitely more when it comes to blistering temperatures. This Fashionista answers the age old dilemma with a simple fix. Dress comfortably.

I know, I know, “easier said than done.” But in reality, finding a comfortable yet stylish look is not as difficult as it would seem. Comfortable clothes aren’t just sweats anymore.  Brands are coming out with more and more quality and affordable clothes that emphasize the comfort aspect of style.

This Fashionista knows just what to do to achieve cute comfort in times of high stress by pairing a simple graphic T-shirt with chic olive pants, and finished it off with black gladiator sandals. A graphic T-shirt with a quirky statement on it is an easy way to have fun with your wardrobe and earth-toned pants spice up an outfit in a way that blue jeans just can’t sometimes. Accessories also play a major part in summer style. From bracelets to necklaces to bags, there are endless ways to dress your outfit up or down. So when it comes to your style this season, remember: a killer outfit doesn’t have to be killing you!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “The more comfortable you are the better you look. The confidence that comes with loving how you look and feel in an outfit definitely shines through.”
