STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Bronzed And Brunching

Practically everyone owns a romper. Two years ago, people would have scoffed at the idea of wearing a one piece outfit that looked like something that had jumped out of a ’60s television show. But now they’re everywhere. Rompers are an all in one outfit that are easy to wear and fashionable, especially when spending a day out in the city.

The city I’m referring to is New York City, home of some of the best street style in the world. It is a fashion capital, and even if you’re just going in for a day, it is compulsory to look chic. I found this Fashionista having brunch in Bryant Park. Her outfit was so cute and summery. Even though it was about 90 degrees out, the clouds had been bobbing in and out all day. A romper with long sleeves is a great choice for a day like that. I love how she didn’t add too many accessories and let the romper stand alone. Its clean lines and crisp white color make it a great piece, especially for a semi-casual and fun activity like brunch. This color is also perfect for right after you get that first tan of the summer.

This Fashionista added a cute gold bracelet and nude wedges to complete her look. Everything about this ensemble screams summer in the city. It’s a great look to wear whether you’re brunching in Bryant Park, having a romantic picnic or heading with your friends for a day at the MOMA.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “A natural tan can complement any outfit. Always make sure to use sunscreen with at least 40 SPF to get a beautiful summertime gow. MAC’s Russian Red and Too Faced Fuchsia go excellent with a white outfit as well.”
