STYLE ADVICE: Baby, It's Cold Outside

Imagine giving off all types of spring vibes in February with some short sleeves, your favorite slides, and your hair flowing in the wind. But one day later, it’s below 38 degrees Fahrenheit and your hair blowing in the wind isn’t such a good thing today. Welcome to North Carolina. How do you adjust having to go back to the cold weather? This Fashionista on campus showed us how to stay warm and look great doing so all at once!

I’m pretty sure we all get a little bored with our winter wardrobe from time to time. A question I ask myself when we have those really cold days is “How do I look cute and warm?” If you’re anything like me, this could take hours because I feel as if though I have to choose between comfort and style. This Fashionista shows us exactly how to manage comfortability and style all while keeping warm.

Spotted looking cozy and chic, this Fashionista definitely caught my eye in this monochromatic look. I was immediately drawn to her shoes. She wore denim acid wash high-top Vans which gave this all-black look some color. This Fashionista paired this bomber jacket with her distressed jeans and an oversize scarf. The high bun and big smile added some extra coziness to her look.

She took a basic black wardrobe and added some volume and a little color, yet nothing about her look was boring. This Fashionista’s look is effortless and eye-catching. Goals, right? Texture, pops of color, and the smallest details can make all the difference. Let’s try it more often.
