Not-for-Profit Intern

Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Dress for Success is looking for interns to join their team and gain experience in the not-for-profit sector. The ideal student is dynamic, highly motivated and passionate about helping women succeed in life and in their career. The start date is immediate in anticipation of a very busy spring.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry
  • Merchandising
  • Inventory management
  • Wardrobing clients

    Requirements:

  • Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills
  • Organized and creative
  • Exceptional computer skills and technical expertise (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to multi-task, work in fast-paced environment and be a great team player
  • Must have the ability to take initiative and work unsupervised
  • Must be able to commit to 15-21 hours per week in Dress for Success’ WW New York office
  • Passion for helping women succeed in the work place.

    This is a non-paid internship, but will allow you hands-on experience in the not-for-profit sector with individuals who are collectively working to empower and improve the lives of others.
