Walking around the streets of the old town in Warsaw, I was amazed how people are stylish there. Indeed, I got the impression that the majority of them could be fashion bloggers. However, it should not be that surprising if we consider Poland’s location on the map. Poland is located in Europe, meaning ‘fashion is in our blood’, and dictates trends on the Eastern European fashion scene.
European Fashionistas are mostly known for their simple designs and high contrast color combinations. They are not afraid to play with fashion trends and always follow the rule ‘dress nicer than normally’. This Fashionista is a perfect example of what it means to be stylish in Poland. She wears a black top and a black sweater contrasted with a black and white striped pair of culottes pants. This type of cropped pants has become a must-have closet mainstay this season in Poland. Culottes are a chick alternative to your favourite comfy pants, and because they are not too short and not too long, they perfect for colder days during the summer.
The beauty of this Fashionista’s look lies in accessories and shoes. She chose black flats from Michael Kors that are perfect shoes to wear when you are in rush to a class. In addition, her delicate jewellery pieces were what really tied her look together. On her hands, a classy watch from Marc Jacobs and a unique personalized Lilou bracelet are a perfect touch to her outfit.
