ALL IN THE DETAILS: Hater Blockers

February 3rd, 2016 at 2:00am

It’s that time of year again where everyone slowly starts to hibernate for the upcoming winter frost and dreams of the days where the sun was able to kiss their perfectly tan skin. I find that now it is so much harder to drag myself out of bed and bundle up to go to class (yes, it does get cold in Georgia, believe me). The effort to look presentable slowly slips away and I now resort to a more comfy and less fashionable outfit to brace the cold. Yet, I find that there is always one accessory that can disguise this dreary outfit.

I realize that my bright, scholastic future requires me to wear the perfect pair of sunglasses to keep me going. Whether I want to people watch outside Starbucks without getting caught or cover the bags under my eyes from a sleepless, textbook filled night, it is never the wrong time to throw on a pair of sunglasses. They are the perfect accessories for a blinding sunny day or a hazy walk to class.

Sunglasses could be classified as a character builder. Whether you want to hide from the world or show your more playful side, sunglasses are the perfect route for you. Each pair of sunglasses is like a new character you can play. They are front and center of your whole look and can literally transform your entire outfit. With so many options to choose from, it is easy to go for a more lively mirrored look, classic Americana aviator or chic oversized cat eye. Sunglasses prove to marry perfectly with any outfit that suits you.

This Fashionista completes her winter wonderful outfit with a chunky sweater, leggings, booties and the perfect pair of mirrored shades. These items make for a well put together look and the sunglasses add just the right amount of attitude to keep her looking fierce. Now, she looks like she is ready to take on the world (or college campus)!

How To: Whether you want to spice up a casual look or add to an already trendy ensemble, sunglasses are the picture-perfect addition. Just remember what kind of persona you are trying to portray. Make the sunglasses complement that character and your look will be RAD.
