Marketing and Social Media Intern

Industry Standard is looking for marketing and social interns in their Long Island Office to start immediately. Interns will work directly with the founder, Nicole Najafi, and have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

Industry Standard is a direct-to-consumer fashion brand based in New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media
    • Conduct weekly research on competitor social media accounts to identify highest performing posts
    • Brainstorm + create social media content (photos, hashtags, Instagram stories, etc)
    • Compile and analyze weekly social media KPIs (increase/decrease in followers, analyzing successful vs. unsuccessful posts, traction, etc.)
  • Online Marketing
    • Brainstorm email marketing campaigns
    • Brainstorm marketing strategies to drive traffic
    • Upload and manage posts for in-house blog, “Gals in IS”
    • Compile monthly press report for all print and online press and upload to website
  • Sales
    • Assist with pack + ship of e-commerce orders
    • Assist with customer service
  • Miscellaneous
    • Assist in production of photoshoots and on set during photoshoots

 
Requirements:

  • Interest in getting firsthand experience in a fashion company and/or start-up
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Roll up your sleeves attitude
