Refinery29 is looking for a styling intern for the Fall semester in their New York office. Their mission is to be a catalyst for women to feel, see, and claim their power by delivering optimistic and diverse creativity, storytelling, and points of view. Focused around core values of individuality, inclusivity, and impact, they create content that speaks to 360 degrees of a woman’s life, including editorial articles, original video programming, shareable social content across a variety of platforms, and live experiences. Their content sits at the intersection of style and substance, helping their audience live a more informed and inspired life.
The styling intern should be interested in fashion and ready to help from steaming clothing and packing up trunks to creating moodboards and conducting market research.
Responsibilities:
- Â Maintaining and organizing the fashion closet
- Create moodboards for photoshoots
- Assisting the styling director in all aspects of a photoshoot
- Coordinating with PR agencies
- Sample trafficking
Requirements:
- Be excited about fashion
- Strong understanding of Refinery29 brand
- Understanding of social media is a plus
- Five day availability is also preferred
