Hello to all the CollegeFashionista readers out there! My name is Kamila and I am senior journalism student at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I vividly remember writing my first Style Guru bio: I was so nervous and excited to start this new chapter in my life. I remember waiting for my first article to get published and felt so proud reading that byline. Two years later and more than 60 bylines after, over the course of which I grew as a writer and a person, and learned an exponential amount of wisdom (just kidding, I wish), here I am—writing my sixth bio.
This upcoming semester is so bittersweet. It’s my last semester as an undergraduate and my last semester writing for CollegeFashionista. Just wait until May when I (hopefully) walk across that stage and receive my diploma that I’ve worked so hard for. Let’s all cross our fingers I won’t trip over that stage or make a fool out of myself in any other shape or form.
Since my sophomore year, CollegeFashionista has become this wonderful place on the Internet, my little corner in which I can express myself: my style, my writing and my skills. A place where my articles can be read, the Fashionistas/os’ outfits can be highlighted and I can meet so many other “rad” Style Gurus! It is bittersweet to have just one more semester left, so let’s make it a good one! Cheers to another four months filled with fashion and positivity. Let’s enjoy this semester of writing about stylish boots and trendy tops, classic little black dresses and unique accessories.
