WHAT TO WEAR: Monochromatic

As the seasons change, so do the clothes that we wear. Fall is getting a little bit colder out and that means, it’s time to pull out the heavy knit sweaters and coats. When the weather starts getting cold I tend to lean towards darker colors of clothing or wear a monochromatic outfit. (In my case, an all black outfit). I just love how monochromatic looks involve different types of textures and shades all in one color. Also, when you have nothing to wear or are running late, you can never go wrong wearing a monochromatic outfit.

This Fashionista is wearing an all black monochromatic outfit with a pop of color. I like how she paired it with different texture and details. This outfit is simple, yet classy. For her top, she is wearing a button down blouse with lace detailing on the shoulder, giving it that detail effect. For her bottom, she is wearing jeggings, which are comfortable and easy to move around in. She paired it with black heels, to give her some height. Lastly, she added a burgundy hat for that pop of color and bold gold hoop earrings as her accessories. This look can be worn as it is, or you can switch it up by pairing it up with a jacket to keep you warm on those chilling days. You can also change the heels to boots and add some other accessories. This look can be worn for brunch or a girl’s night out.

Fall fashion is a great way to experience the different types of style and clothing pieces and incorporate it into winter fashion. Monochromatic is one of the styles that will incorporate into the winter fashion without a problem, as it is still trendy and fashionable.
