This Los Angeles winter has definitely been snowflake weather, and if you’re anything like me, you like to stay busy during break. Interning at Foam Magazine this winter, I am surrounded by style savvy gorgeous ladies. All internships, whether it be in the fashion industry or business or communications, are generally the same: full days and large sets of tasks. When you know there’s a big day ahead of you, it’s always smart to dress comfortably chic.
My fellow Foam Magazine intern made smart style choices for the chilly air and 8-hour day ahead! The best part about cold weather is the ability to play with fabrics, layers, accessories and stack them all together. This Fashionista did it exactly right by layering multiple, cohesive pieces to keep cozy in. The Fashionista’s tribal print dress is my favorite piece to her look because of its versatility. This sort of dress is a great investment that can be worn all year round!
I couldn’t help but take notice in the details this Fashionista put into her look. Although her main outfit consists of only a black and white color palette (a look which was seen many times in the most recent runway shows), a pop of color really shines with her turquoise ring and pastel green nails. If your internship requires you to work with computers for a lengthy amount of time, find a pair of fashionable reading glasses that can go match with various outfits like this Fashionista did! Also, this Fashionista’s ruffle socks peeping out of her combat boots add a cute, girly touch. Don’t be afraid to mix and match different styles and colors to create your own look!
