Waking up to snow on the ground is a challenge for everyone when it comes to figuring out what to wearing in the snow, even experienced Fashionistas. Having to break out the winter gear that has been in storage since last year makes you realize that you probably should have thought about buying some new snow clothes before it actually snowed. We are then faced with the challenge of layering the clothes that we already have without looking like we are trying to wear every article of clothing from our closets.
This Fashionista looked fabulous walking home from class because she was able to show her style while still being bundled up and warm. Floral is usually viewed as a summer print for clothing, but when worn the right way, it can be worn all year round! These floral leggings paired with the vintage parka jacket and combat boots balance out the pretty and bold aspect of her outfit. Although this Fashionista had all of these articles in her closet pre- snow fall, she nailed how to layer without going overboard and kept it realistic. Although combat boots aren’t exactly meant for the snow, they will still keep you from falling on the ice on your way to class instead of wearing your old clunky snow boots. The purple hat that this Fashionista is wearing, tops off the outfit by keeping her head warm and still looking adorable.
One Simple Change: This outfit is already so trendy that it could easily be worn out on the town with the girls. By taking off the hat and parka and adding a simple necklace for some bling and making those long legs look even longer by wearing some suede wedges, this Fashionista would be ready to go!
