WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

The past few weeks students have been bracing themselves for one storm after another. The snow has piled up and campus looks like a winter wonderland, but snow is no reason to stop looking stylish. This Fashionista looks cute despite being surrounded by two-foot-tall snow drifts.

One of the most popular trends of this winter, biker jackets are a cute way to add a little edge to any outfit. This Fashionista wore hers with a little black dress and rocked a  princess-esque pillbox hat that added a little bit of polish to an already adorable outfit. It’s so hard to keep warm, so pieces like this are great.

This Fashionista added knit fingerless gloves to make this outfit a bit more casual and her tights made her LBD wearable in the cold. Her black outfit is nicely contrasted by her brown boots and tan bag. Overall her outfit is a cute and current way to dress in the cold weather.

The cold is not a burden, it’s the reason you get to wear hats, gloves, scarves and coats! And who doesn’t have a favorite coat or hat? I personally love hats, so winter is my excuse to wear them! My Upstate New York campus is currently submerged in snow and sludge after being hit by a storm, and I wouldn’t dream of heading out without bundling up in one of my beloved hats and some cute gloves.

One Simple Change: To keep even warmer I would sub out the fingerless gloves for a pair of super chic red leather gloves that will keep your fingers nice and toasty in this cold weather!
