What to Wear

During winter quarter at Cal Poly, everyone takes an insane amount of classes so they don’t feel guilty when they take the minimum amount of units during spring quarter. I can see the stress in the students already, but I’m also seeing the trendiest winter attire everywhere. Winter weather in San Luis Obispo is perfect; It’s cold enough to bundle up with a colorful scarf and warm enough to wear a pair of tights with boots. We are so lucky to go to school in California; the weather lets us show our inner fashion sense instead of hiding it under a full-body-length parka.

This Fashionista modeled a chic ensemble on her walk to class. She wore a thrifted True Religion jean jacket, which she perfectly paired with the purple colored Brandy Melville leggings. The white top and minimal accessories gave all the attention to her color leggings, which made it the focal point of the outfit. Colored denim and leggings are a fun and bright way to spice up any wardrobe even if you are just dressed to go to class. Don’t be afraid to be playful and pair your colored denim with a printed shirt.

One Simple Change: When going out with friends, lose the jean jacket and add a cute pair of wedges. Let the color brighten any room you enter!
