WHAT TO WEAR: Class

As the weather gets colder, students are more inclined to wear whatever they can to stay warm and go more basic with what they wear. Look at how this Fashionista dresses for class in the colder months and how she is able to stay warm and also fashionable!

For her outfit, in order to stay warm the first piece she has on is a beautiful cream sweater from J.Crew. This sweater is perfect for the colder months because of the thick material but still stays stylish with the detailed front. Over top of the sweater, this Fashionista paired her sweater with a plaid vintage scarf. This scarf gives a pop of color to the look to spice up the all-neutral look. Adding a pop of color in the winter can distract away from the cold and dreary weather, and when it’s in the form of a scarf, it can also give you added warmth. To top off the top of the look, for accessories this Fashionista chose a gold kate spade watch and earrings from Blue Beetle on Nantucket. Pairing her sweater with a watch is perfect for class so that you can check the time while walking to class without having to pull out your phone. The stud earrings she chose keeps the look simple, and don’t compete with the look of the sweater and the scarf, but complement it instead.

For the bottom half of the look, this Fashionista chose to pair her sweater and scarf with black leggings from a local store in town called Pitaya. Leggings are a great option for class because of the stretchy and comfortable material. They can also be layered for extra layers and warmth. Her boots that she paired with the leggings are from ALDO. These boots are perfect for class and the season because the thick heel is easy to walk to class in and allows you to walk through the snow without too much difficulty. They keep the outfit looking stylish.

One Simple Change: Take off the plaid scarf and throw on a leather jacket for a girly and edgy date night look!
