STYLE GURU STYLE: Sweater Weather

I can’t believe it’s already November! Looks like it is officially sweater weather here in New York. I am so excited to break out all my warm and cozy sweaters. It is one of my favorite things about the cold weather. Here’s a look that would be perfect for a Sunday brunch or lunch hanging with the girls. It’s casual and, of course, comfortable.

I changed things up with these boot cut jeans that are frayed at the bottom, which are two trends that are really hot right now. On top, I wore this Abercrombie & Fitch sweater that I got a few years ago. It manages to come out every winter because it’s so comfortable and soft and I even have it in a few different colors. I am loving this deep burgundy color, it is always one of my favorite colors for winter, and this season it is everywhere. Abercrombie & Fitch also has some cute sweaters this season, so check them out! I’m wearing this double breasted camel jacket that I got last Black Friday at Banana Republic. It was one of the best deals I have ever gotten and I’m so happy I did because it is such a versatile piece. I can dress this jacket up with black pants for work or down with jeans.

I accessorized the look with a rosary-like necklace and gold stacked rings. I also wore a lace bralette under the sweater to add some subtle feminine details. Lastly, I paired this look with my go-to black booties from Aldo. Here are a similar pair that are even on sale.
