STYLE GURU BIO: Hannah Cebula

What’s up Fashionistas/os? My name’s Hannah! This is my first semester writing for College Fashionista and also my last semester of college. Such a bittersweet time! I’m a strategic communications major at West Virginia University, and I also have a communications studies minor.

Fashion has always been a major part of my life because it’s let me express who I am. When I was younger, I was the shy girl, so I let fashion do the talking. Now that I’m older, my personality mirrors my fashion and style. They’re both big and bold.

My style is the lovechild of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones (who are also my favorite bands). I like to mix sleek, classic looks with the grungy rocker attitude. Black is a must in nearly every single outfit, and the great thing is that it can be as classy or as grungy as I’d like.

In addition to fashion, I also love makeup! In particular, I love lipstick. I have naturally full lips, and I was always bullied as a child. They were my biggest insecurity for a while, but now I show them off as much as I can. I love topping of my looks with a bold lip!

I also experiment with my hair a lot; you name it, I’ve probably had it done to my hair: Long, short, pixie, bob, pink, purple, blonde, white and black. I’ve done it all. In fact, my hair will change before this article is even posted! It’s too much fun.

In this look, I’m rocking a zip-front overall dress from Forever 21, Kandy combat boots from ALDO and MAC lipstick in the Dark Side shade. I was super inspired by 1960s mod for this look!

I’m so happy to finish off my college career writing College Fashionista, and I can’t wait to connect with all you fellow Fashionistas/os! Cheers!
