Hi everyone!
My name is Halle Proper and I am a junior at Penn State University studying public relations and advertising. This is my first semester with CollegeFashionista and I am super excited about being a Style Guru. I can’t wait to give you all a taste of my style!
Let me tell you a little bit about myself! I am one of seven girls! Having five older sisters and one younger sister has its ups and downs, as I’m sure you can imagine. Sharing the mirror in the bathroom every morning, fighting over the last bag of Doritos in the pantry and deciding who gets to control the remote control are all obviously not the highlights. However, having an array of closets to pick outfits from definitely is. Ever since I was in seventh grade, I always admired my older sisters’ fashion sense. Whenever they were distracted, I would sneak into their room and steal a shirt that was a couple sizes too big for then 12-year-old me. Now, as a 19-year-old, I am no longer swimming in the oversized shirts of my older sisters, but I have been inspired by their fashion sense!
You can typically define my style as feminine and sometimes even edgy. I Iove dresses, rompers, skirts and anything with a pretty pattern, preferably floral! I also love black on black, leather and studs. I especially love adding accessories to any look. The perfect necklace can always change a look from drab to fab! A bright lip color also adds the perfect touch.
