Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Erin Morgan and I am a senior at Sacred Heart University. I am so excited to be writing for CollegeFashionista this upcoming spring. For as long as I can remember, I have been extremely passionate about fashion and keeping up with the latest trends. I love to see every individual’s unique style and how everyone can incorporate a piece of clothing into their outfit in different ways. I think being a Style Guru is the perfect opportunity for me to explore the fashion world.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. In fact, New York City has served as one of my biggest influences when it comes to fashion and my personal style. I love to spend afternoons walking down Fifth Ave or shopping in the boutique’s in SoHo. My personal style would best be defined as business casual, and black pants are a staple in my wardrobe. Here I am wearing dark wash blue jeans with a white sweater over a green and fuchsia flannel. My brown suede booties really pull the outfit together and make it possible to easily transform it from daytime to nighttime wear. My back leather purse from kate spade adds a professional aspect to the look. Personally, I love black bags because they go with almost any ensemble!
