STYLE GURU BIO: Alyssa DiDomenico

Hey Fashionistas! My name is Alyssa DiDomenico and I am a sophomore at Kent State University, majoring in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Marketing. I am elated that my CollegeFashionista journey is finally beginning!

Fashion has always been a huge part of my life. My mom has always taught me to go out in the world looking fabulous. The way you dress allows you to show your personality and express yourself without having to say a word. My personal style can be completely different depending on the day. I enjoy embracing a variety of trends and I often change my everyday style. However, when it comes down to it I almost always end up wearing something preppy and feminine. I love stores like Madewell, kate spade and Anthropologie. I absolutely adore winter fashion for a million reasons, but mainly so that I can wear something comfy and warm .

The outfit featured in this post encompasses my most basic everyday attire. I typically end up in a sweater, pair of jeans and some cute booties. My favorite part about a basic outfit is spicing it up with accessories. Anyone who knows me is aware of my forever growing statement necklace collection. The boho-inspired necklace I have on is bold without taking over the entire outfit. The hammered detail on the gold plates gives the necklace a unique look and the dangling white stone makes it simple and elegant. I am all about the blanket scarves right now, what can be better than literally wearing a blanket all day? Aside from keeping my warm, this wrap is versatile and truly anybody can pull it off. The best part is the ability to turn the scarf into a cape like I have done; the opportunities are endless. I am also wearing a classic V-neck black sweater, heather gray jeans and black booties. I am carrying my prize possession that is my Burberry canvas check bag. This bag goes everywhere with me and it basically goes with every outfit. I have also featured my small collection of rings. These are the rings I wear nearly everyday and since my wardrobe remains pretty neutral they always go well with the outfit. I also tried out a subtle berry lip to match my nails.

Thank you for checking in on my post and I would love for you to read more of my posts as I grow during this internship!
