Mixing patterns is a great way to spice up your everyday outfit. If you’re getting bored of your wardrobe, don’t be afraid to take a risk and change it up. Turn this fashion “don’t” into a fashion “do” with a great outfit like the one this Fashionista is wearing.
I spotted this Fashionista on campus rocking a pair of skinny blue jeans, a basic white T-shirt and a cute tribal print sweater. On her feet she’s wearing a pair of studded tiffany blue flats. To tie together the outfit she was wore a blue scarf in the same color as her shoes. Her pink floral printed backpack against her neutral colored tribal sweater is what really caught my eye for this look. I think the mixing of these two patterns along with the pop of color in the scarf and shoes created an overall a great mix. This Fashionista’s hair was also super adorable. She french braided both sides and then tied both braids together in a bun. To accessorize she added a cute silver headband.
Mixing patterns looks like it’s going to be a big trend for this quickly approaching spring season. If it is done right then it can obviously look awesome. To nail this look make sure to choose at least to two colors to mix and play around with. Don’t go overboard and mix too many prints and colors because you don’t want to end up looking like a box of crayons. A neutral backdrop always helps. Step away from the matchy-matchy look this season and be adventurous with your wardrobe. Experiment with this trend and say goodbye to boring outfits.
