Ever have those days when you leave the house bundled in a dozen different layers and by mid-day it’s 20 degrees warmer and you’re struggling to strip some off and tote them around your classes? There’s nothing more frustrating then in-between, up and down weather but as a student in the mid-south it is something we have all become accustomed to.

The key to wearable looks in fluctuating temperatures? Easy, light layers. This Fashionista nails this concept perfectly with a white blouse, caramel colored cardigan and black leggings. Each super thin layer makes the look more flexible, allowing adherence to quick changes in temperature. Sticking to a neutral color palette also keeps the outfit cohesive even when layers are removed.

The true showstopper of her look is her bright paisley scarf. Playing with bold patterns and vibrant color palettes in your accessories is an effortless way to take a look up a level. addition of the neon color palette was necessary for an outfit of all neutrals. The blue, pink and green hues of the scarf add interest to her look and the paisley pattern brings feminine flare. Not every look needs to be earth-shattering or complicated. Sometimes simple is better. Sticking to basic thin layers and pulling your look together with a bold accessory is the best confusing weather strategy.
