STYLE GURU BIO: Hannah Mo

Style Advice of the Week, Style Guru Bio

I am Hannah Mo and I am a sophomore in Indiana University Bloomington. I am currently majoring in Apparel Merchandising and minoring in Business. I was born in Oklahoma and lived there until the age of five. Then I went to South Korea and lived there for seven years. After that, then I moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived there for six years. Recently, specifically three years ago, I moved to Washington State. My home is currently in Washington, but I go to Indiana University. I have been to so many places, especially in states.

An interesting fact about my fashion life is that I am not the first one to study fashion in my family. My mom studied Fashion Design in South Korea, and even had fashion shows. She designed Korean traditional clothing and has a degree in Fashion Design. Since I was in elementary school, I have seen my mom’s design work, drawings, and fashion shows, and I think that was the first time I started to see what “fashion” is and what it can do.

I am graduating next year, and my dream is to work in an apparel company. I want to work in a company that is mostly online-based but also has offline markets. My second plan is to create my own international online shopping mall. I want to sell many famous brands though my online shopping mall and ship the products all around the world. I am a girl with a big dream and I will do whatever I can to achieve what I want to achieve. I will never give up!

Another interesting fact about me is that I am good at saving money. I am good that finding apparels that are in trends, which are from named brands, and that are on sale. For example, I have shopped in Express and bought one men’s polo shirt, one men’s T-shirt, one women’s tank-top dress, and one women’s open-shoulder top for $54 altogether ($54 was not even the regular price of the tank-top dress). Actually, the top I am wearing in the picture is the open-shoulder top that I got in Express. I love looking through the clearance section and find trendy styles and saving money.

I will be posting fashion articles on CollegeFashionista, and I hope my postings will help you with your fashion and will be your inspiration!
