FASHION FROM ABROAD: Blending In

Traveling abroad is a great experience, but packing for the occasion is tough. Choosing clothes to adapt and blend into the culture you are going to can be hard, especially when you have never been there. Here in Italy, the fashion is very different than America. Italian women always look their best no matter where or when.

This Fashionista went with a clean, simple look. The outfit is very transitional and can be functional for multiple occasions. Starting from the bottom, a popular trend in Europe is the white adidas sneakers. These can be seen worn all over the streets. The great thing about these is that they are fashionable here, as well as comfortable to walk around the city in. Here in Florence, you walk everywhere, so comfortable shoes are a must!

Her peacoat dresses up her daily outfit. The city of Florence is unexpectedly cold, so this peacoat is a great choice for a winter coat. Keeping the same color scheme with her black jeans, this Fashionista adds a cute black winter hat. She is staying warm while being fashionable.

An essential while being abroad is a cross-body bag. Pickpocketing is a big issue in Europe, especially for Americans. Having a small bag like the one this Fashionista has is a safe option to hold onto and store your wallet and passport in.

Italy is known for all the luxurious brands and in Florence, there are streets filled with high-end shops. To give the outfit a little bit of a flare, this Fashionista went with a double buckle belt. This belt is very flashy and keeps with the color scheme of her outfit. This belt completes the outfit and is very popular amongst celebrities such as Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid to name a few. This Fashionista does a great job of blending into the culture and gives us great inspiration of street style in Italy!
