Jane.com is an online marketplace that gathers up great deals from a number of different sellers and post them in one place. We do categories other than fashion, but Women’s Clothing and Women’s Accessories are our Bread and Butter. We are currently looking to elevate our brand as a whole, including our product assortment.
This intern would be responsible for assisting our Stylist and Fashion team with all photo shoot prep and on set styling. As this is a hands-on internship, this intern would need to be able to work in our office in Lehi, UT. This is a paid position.
Responsibilities:
- Keep samples organized by shoot & season in the sample closet
- Keep track of dates when samples can be archived/donated
- Create shipping labels for expedited shipping needs
- Track all samples to make sure they arrive on time
- Keep a running inventory list of samples. In-house, estimated arrival dates for upcoming shoots, etc.
- Organize casting images and scheduling
- Maintain styling kit and foundation garments’
- Prep clothing prior to shooting – steaming & packing
- Assist stylist on set
- Local sample pick ups
Requirements:
- Passion for fashion and styling
- Eye for detail and design
- Willing to do the tough stuff
- Self-starter
- Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Word
- Ability to forecast trends and look ahead for upcoming seasons
