Overview:
To assist the Accounting & Finance team in day to day tasks. This intern will gain a valuable understanding and gain knowledge in working in a small team environment
Responsibilities:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Minimal Accounts Receivable
- Administrative tasks including filing and office maintenance
Requirements:
- Fashion major preferred but not required
- Pursing a degree in accounting/finance
- Cursory understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
- Additional language fluency is a plus
- Adheres to company policy and confidentiality — is a true ambassador for the brand with strong sense of corporate responsibility. Setting the standard.
- Proficient in all of Microsoft Office/Suite
- Driven to learn and grow, grasp new concepts quickly, prioritizes efficiently and is organized
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; follows professional presentation
- Strong follow up, follow through and attention to detail needed.
