Marketing Intern

Function of Beauty is a multi-million dollar personalized shampoo + conditioner company revolutionizing the way women shop for beauty products. We individually fill and formulate every single bottle of shampoo and conditioner for every single person based on their hair types, hair goals and preferences. We even let you choose the color, fragrance and your name is printed on the bottle! We just closed our Series-A round, securing $9.5 million in funding. We are Head Quartered in NYC and are opening a retail store in SoHo!

This is no ordinary internship. You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact at Function of Beauty.

In this position, you’ll be coming up with innovative ideas to help grow and spread the word about Function of Beauty to your community and college campus. Think: throwing parties, awesome events, Snapchat takeovers, collaborating on marketing ideas, brainstorming influencers and fun partnerships.

This position is not for you if you like:

  • A desk job in a sad, grey cubicle
  • Running silly errands for someone else (dry cleaning, getting coffee)
  • Monotonous tasks
  • Doing projects that someone doesn’t ever want to do
  • Boring meetings

    You’ll be working directly with the marketing team and CEO at Function of Beauty. You’ll be hands on, gain real world experience in a fast growing startup that is revolutionizing the beauty industry. Each week we’ll cover a different topic and marketing tactic, then turn it over to you to come up with creative ideas, you’ll execute them on your campus and share the results with us.

  • Content creation, branding and messaging
  • Gorilla marketing tactics
  • PR efforts
  • Social media planning and takeovers

    You are someone who wants to tackle real life situations and learn by doing. You’re passionate, a true entrepreneur, hardworking, have great interpersonal skills and are active within your college community.

  • Current college student
  • Passionate about Function of Beauty and the beauty industry

    • Note: This is an unpaid, remote position but can be taken for school credit.
