While I desperately wish I were attending the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October, I will have to live vicariously through this Fashionista’s outfit. For some odd reason, animal carcasses are on-trend at the moment. There is no place better than Texas for this edgy, desert inspired statement to be shown. Throw this graphic on a light T-shirt dress and toss it in tie-dye and you have the perfect musical festival getup.

This Fashionista pairs this airy dress with rocker black combat boots. Since these boots look good with the “worn in” vibe, they are perfect for long days of walking and standing at a festival and durable for dealing with the crowds of people.

Nothing should be taken too seriously at music festivals, making it the perfect time to experiment with makeup. Play with glitter, use some crazy eyeshadow or do a candy pink lipstick for a statement. This Fashionista kept the rest of her makeup and hair natural and fresh for a laid back look.

This festival look is different than the flower headbands Coachella look. It is more western rock and roll, perfect for Austin, Texas. What I would imagine would cover this festival would be more graphic T-shirts and dresses, ripped and frayed jeans of all kinds, and statement jewelry to the max.

One Simple Change: For different scenery, this casual look could be perfect for the upcoming fall months. Just throw on an oversized knit cardigan for the cooler weather. The knit texture is one of my favorites and will still give the outfit character.
