I honestly think the term Fashionista is a bit of an understatement for this post. Nonetheless, this Fashionista was the epitome and embodiment of bohemian style, a boho princess from head to toe.
Her style exuded the whimsical free spirit indicative of the spring atmosphere that awaits us just around the corner. Every piece of her outfit was so well synchronized. The color of her hat coordinated with her oversized clutch, her killer boots with her top and bralette and her nail polish even matched the flowers on her kimono. It may have been a very thoroughly planned outfit, but that is the thing about boho style, it looks so free and effortless that we will never be able to tell if this was put together in two minutes or two hours.
Every part of her outfit was bold and eye-catching, but harmonized so well that it did not overwhelm. I especially was in love with her choice of accessories. She wore pieces that I think most would shy away from. Her wool hat was so pretty, but was originally something I never thought of wearing. Her statement necklace truly makes a statement and ties the whole outfit together, but some people are afraid of letting their jewelry talk. My personal favorite and the cherry on top are those boots. I have seen combat boots and I have seen over-the-knee boots, but never the two combined. The glorious culmination of the two boots can only be described as Lara Croft meets Khaleesi.
This Fashionista’s style was inspirational to me and I hope that it will inspire you all to find your inner bohemian princess this spring.
