Spring Makeup Looks

Sorry, but we just can’t stop talking about spring. What’s not to love? The flowers outside our dorms are blooming, the walks to class are about to improve dramatically, and the end of the semester is near. And now that the horribly cold weather has ended (well, almost), it finally feels right to try out all the new spring trends we’ve been dying to test all winter—which is, THB, what we’ve really been waiting for. From gorgeous subtly flushed cheeks to bold red-orange lips, ahead are all the looks we’ll definitely be wearing come sunny days—and how to recreate them for yourself.

Matte Pink Pout

This light look is perfect for a casual day of class. Start by massaging a light base of W3ll People Bio Tint Multi-Action Moisturizer SPF 30 ($29) on your cheeks, your forehead, and the bridge of your nose with your fingers to keep your skin looking fresh. To create the bright pink matte effect, apply three to four swipes of Glossier Generation G Lipstick in zip ($18) to your lips.

Red-Orange Lips

Match your lipstick shade to your sunny mood with a pretty bright color. Start by applying L’Oreal Visible Lift Concealer ($13) underneath the eyes using a Morphe Flat Concealer Brush ($5) to blend in the product. After you’ve covered any imperfections, outline your lips with Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in pumpkin ($29) and then apply one layer of bold lip color in the same shade. Give your eyelashes super volume with one stroke of L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise in black($10).

Dewy Skin

Dewy Skin

Celebrate the end of dry winter skin with some serious glow and opt for a few shine-inducing products. A few dots of RMS Beauty Living Luminizer ($38) blended onto the tops of your cheekbones will provide the ideal amount of dew to help you look perfectly moisturized. Swipe on a few coats of Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara ($20) in black and Glossier Lip Gloss ($14) to complete the look.

Subtle Flush

Soft pink has already taken over everything else in your life—why not incorporate it into your makeup, too? Swipe Nars Blush in silvana ($30) into both the creases of your eyelids and onto the apples of your cheeks, and finish by brushing Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in luminous light ($22) onto the high points of your face and applying one coat of Fenty Gloss Bomb ($18) add some extra shine to your lips.

All-Over Glow

Add to that natural warm-weather glow with a little extra shine. Start by applying a base layer of Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($34) with a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush ($9), and follow by applying ColourPop Rich Tan 65 ($6) to your under eyes with your fingers. Using an E.l.f. Contour Brush ($3), apply one streak of Covergirl Ebony Bronzer ($13) on both cheeks, and then finish the glam by applying a swipe of highlighter with a BH Cosmetics Highlighter Brush ($4) on the bridge of your nose.
