5 Inexpensive Activities to Do with Your Friends This Fall

The beginning of the year is stressful for a lot of college students. However, as the middle of September arrives, college kids get into a set schedule with allotted free time. What to do in that free time? Here are some notable activities to have a fun-filled fall season with your pals.

go to a local farmer’s market

You don’t have to go to school in the middle of the countryside to find a local farmer’s market. Luckily, the majority of towns and cities host weekly farmer’s markets throughout the summer and fall season. Locate a farmer’s market near your campus and pick up endless amounts of fresh fruits and veggies. Better yet, skip the dining hall and whip up a healthy meal with your farmer’s goods to share with your roomies.

go vintage shopping

Mainstream mundane fashion can bring you and your friends down. Amp up your campus style by checking out your school’s nearest vintage stores. With vintage shopping, one-of-a-kind pieces are at your fingertips. Most malls and department stores don’t hold these original styles.  No doubt, you’ll find a killer band tee or old-school denim jacket that your friends will definitely want to steal.

Take advantage of the warm fall weather. Go for a cruise with the windows rolled down and blast sing-along jams alongside your favorite people. As a matter of fact, this is a great way to let go of the stress from the start of the new school year.

take pictures at a cool spot

Instagram page in need of some pizazz? Gather your friends and go location hunting. Look around the nooks and crannies of your college town in search of the perfect photo backdrop. You’ll never know where you might end up, most college cities have a lot to offer. Once you find the ideal location, whip out your camera and take shots of all kinds, from solo to candid. Then, post your dope shots on Instagram and all your followers will marvel at the scenery.

have a clothing swap

If you just can’t seem to get excited about your back-to-school wardrobe but don’t have enough time or money to go shop, host a clothing swap with your best friends. In a clothing swap, everyone provides a bag of clothes they are tired of wearing and trade randomly with one another. Ultimately, it’s an ideal way to get a breath of fresh air into your closet for no money at all!
