WHAT TO WEAR: Workout

Working out is not the first thing on my mind in the morning. The first thing I want when I wake up is a piece of chocolate cake. This should be the reason why I should workout. I just do not like wearing sweatpants or sneakers. I feel uncomfortable, but I guess if everybody is wearing the same outfit, there is nothing to feel weird about. There are people who workout and still look fashionable doing so.

This Fashionisto was walking toward the gym when I stopped him because he is one fellow who proved that workout gear could look stylish. The Fashionisto works out in pair of light gray Nike sneakers with lime green laces. This pair of sneakers can be worn with jeans as well because it is not the typical shoe that is bulky and not fashionable. At least the Fashionisto’s sneakers can be used even when he is not working out. He matches his sneakers with a pair of light gray joggers to match his sneakers. I like his joggers because they are not the standard workout wear. Most Fashionistos would wear a pair of gym shorts that are tight at the waist and flared at the bottom. Joggers are not too snug, so you do not feel constricted from working out, but they are fitted around the waist and legs. You can wear joggers and not feel like you’re about to run four miles.

Along with his sneakers and joggers, he matches a black, fitted crewneck shirt meant for running. Not only is it meant for running, but he could also wear this with a pair of jeans. He then sports a navy blue hoodie underneath a blue winter coat. To match the blue details of his workout gear, he sports a pair of square blue eyeglasses.

If you’re going to work out, but don’t know what to wear, just follow in the footsteps of this Fashionisto.

One Simple Change: So you worked out, and now you have to run to class? Switch the joggers for a pair of jeans to balance the fitted shirt.
