WHAT TO WEAR: Workout

It’s never too late to start that New Year’s resolution; in fact, January was only but a trial month. If any of you said you’d be working out more come the new year, I want you to know that you can still strut your stuff even while running on the treadmill.

Athletic wear can be practical—shorts and a T-shirt—yet fashionable, full of patterns and pops of color. This Fashionista made her blue capri leggings her statement piece, because who ever said you couldn’t wear statements while working out? No one. To avoid any clashes between colors, she went with a simple, solid color racerback tank top. She then finished off her look with a teal Fitbit Flex and running shoes that were within the same color palette.

This ensemble is perfect for those students who are constantly on the go, but still want to make it to that evening yoga class. This is look is super comfy and it gives you the opportunity to be prepared for more than one occasion at once—the gym, brunch and class.

One Simple Change: As many of you already know, leggings and yoga pants don’t have to be worn just for working out. By adding a nice jacket, your favorite pair of sunnies and your go-to purse, you’ll be channeling your inner Hilary Duff in no time. This is perfect for when you want to get brunch and catch up with your girls, but don’t have the time in between to completely change your outfit. You’ll also get to disguise that fresh-from-the-gym look that we all dread. Feel free to switch out the blue leggings for your favorite color or pattern!
