WHAT TO WEAR: Work Out

What to Wear

The sun has finally melted away the snow and the real springtime weather has made its appearance. People everywhere are working out like crazy for the perfect spring break and summer bods. Living a healthy lifestyle is important to almost everyone today and there is a huge variety of stores to find bold and fashionable workout attire. For all of us fashion and fitness lovers, the best way to start soaking up the sun is by leaving the gym and taking the workout outside. What better way to start the day than a good workout while catching some rays and vitamin D?

This Fashionista wanted to wake up, re-boost her energy and knew exactly where to go. Running on the city streets isn’t always easy so she runs until she reaches the high line and continues her route there. Not only does she know her way around, she understands how to dress for the weather.

She begins her look with stretchy gray running pants and a pink heathered sports bra. Then she threw on a bright and comfortable royal blue tank top. Neons and bright colored clothing have been athletic wear’s hottest trends over the past few years and this Fashionista knows it. The pink Nike zip-up jacket she wears shelters her from the wind just incase the weather changes during her workout. This Fashionista is ready for anything. Her outfit is faultless for any workout at any time of day. Her breathable, lightweight jacket is ideal for the stylish fitness maven.

Of course running shoes are a necessity no matter what the activity. To match with any outfit, this Fashionista bought black and white Nike’s. Buying the most comfortable shoes for yourself is important since you will be getting a lot of use out of them and hopefully keep them for a long time.

With her hair pulled back to keep out of her face she sports aviator sunglasses to protect her eyes from the sun. Just because you’re working out doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish! A cute pair of sunglasses can be the best accessory for a jog outside. Add your own personal touch with a splash of colored headphones or your own pair of sunglasses.

One Simple Change: Meeting friends for a study group or have a class? Put on some deodorant, swap the tank for a cute T-shirt and running shoes for converse to meet up as soon as possible.
