WHAT TO WEAR: Winter

If you haven’t noticed yet—it’s negative 100 degrees outside and still getting colder. People like me tend to stay inside and hibernate until spring unless we’re forced to go outside. Unless I’m going skiing or making my way to the mall, I don’t see the point in becoming an icicle. On the other hand, some people are crazy enough to go out and about and freeze their butts off—amen to them. Especially amen to today’s Fashionisto who was courageous enough to walk the streets of basically what should be called the North Pole in Vermont. Not only does he look like he’s absolutely freezing, he looks exceptionally good doin’ it. Not saying I would go outside, but if I had to, I know where I’ll be getting my next style tips.

For everyone who wants to know how to do winter the right way, get your pens and paper out because you’re about to be schooled by today’s Fashionisto. First things first, never have I ever seen Hunter boots look so good on a man. Props to him, because he knows how to dress well while still killing the style game. Though the Hunter boots are typically rain boots, these boots are insulated and very warm. The length of the boots are perfect for his dark wash jeans. The darkness of the jeans give the look some sophistication and class. For added warmth and comfort, this Fashionisto chose to sport a cozy gray sweat shirt, with a black trim for some extra flare. For the complete winter look, he’s wearing a long navy peacoat detailed with metal clips. Finally, a The North Face beanie and leather gloves are a must have for this extremely cold season.

One Simple Change: This look can be easily transformed into date night appropriate attire. Just switch out the boots for some suede Clarks boots and a nice dress shirt.
