WHAT TO WEAR: Winter

March 8th, 2016 at 2:00am

Let’s be honest, even the most fashionable of us just want to wear our biggest sweatpants to our early morning class on a cold winter morning. We all have those rough days where we may or may not wear what we wore to bed the previous night to class. It is okay to admit it, but it is possible to look effortlessly put together while still feeling comfortable.

This Fashionista created a fun look based on the cold weather, knowing how to incorporate the perfect amount of laid back and composure in the style. She wore a casual cotton T-shirt, much like this one from Free People. The knot adds to her personal touch in the look, adding a hippy vibe that is very in currently. Who doesn’t love big sweaters? Printed or textured, a sweater is my personal favorite touch in any outfit, especially to stay warm in the cold we face here in Ohio. This Fashionista is constantly letting her creative touches shine through in every outfit she wears. Her glasses, much like these kate spade frames, do a perfect job of adding a special styled element not many others are able to pull off. Oh, and let’s not forget about her amazing berry lipstick shade, perfect for this season.

One Simple Change: I am all about that comfy casual style, especially while facing the cold winter conditions, but l would easily be able to transition this look to a fall style. Swap out the jeans for a skirt or place a dress under the T-shirt and sweater. The more flowy the better in my mind, especially if the weather permits this change. The sweater and T-shirt could even be swapped for a long sleeve sweater to go with the season. Play around with your layers. And remember, comfy can be fashionable!
