WHAT TO WEAR: Winter

Snow can either be beautiful or nasty. I couldn’t agree more with what Carl Reiner said, “A lot of people like snow. I find it to be an unnecessary freezing of water.” There are so many reasons why I dislike snow, but mainly because there is nothing warm and cute to wear (okay, not entirely true). There is such a limited wardrobe to dress to impress during winter days. I constantly find myself standing in front of my closet for hours trying to find items that are not similar to what I wore the day before.

For those who know me, I am a huge sucker for anything black. As much time I spend in front of my closet picking the best outfit, I always end up picking an outfit with an assortment of the color black. No matter what season or which occasion, everything I wear incorporates at least one black item. Black is classy and edgy. With the “right” items and layering, you can rock black at any season of the year.

With no doubt, I absolutely love this Fashionista’s look. She doesn’t only look great for such nasty weather, but she also has the perfect combination of black items incorporated in her outfit. I love how she wears a grey turtleneck sweater underneath an adorable, chic faux fur moto jacket. A coat can really determine how you want to present your style. This jacket looks so cozy and sleek. It definitely gives her outfit an edgy taste, yet classy and feminine with a pair of patent leather loafer. She is rocking her outfit on such a cold day with great picks to keep her warm yet stylish. I also cannot help but notice her faux leather pants. It blends in so well with the entire look. The leather pants create a nice, subtle touch to the outfit, and it is better than perfect! I guess winter doesn’t have to be that bad if you can look as good as this Fashionista.

One Simple Change: Going out at night? No problem. Simply change the leather pants to a long black, slit dress and wear it underneath the sweater. Change the flats to a pair of heeled, ankle boots, and you’re good to go!
