WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

I think a lot of people are probably having the same problem; what are we supposed to wear when it’s the middle of winter, but 50 to 60 degrees every day? We’re at that point where people are usually able to put on big sweaters and coats, but this year we’re not exactly able to do that; this weather is throwing everyone off.

With the semester just ending and the holidays underway we all want comfortable, cute outfits that are versatile for whatever we end up doing on our winter break. Whether it is hanging at home with family, enjoying lunch with friends or running errands, this Fashionista is ready for whatever comes her way.

She went for a relaxed long sleeve shirt with lace detailing on the back. This shirt is great for hanging out on the weekends or meeting friends for lunch. She pulls this outfit together with a gold statement necklace, a couple of rings and bracelets and a pair of neutral wedges.

With the unpredictable weather we’ve been having this outfit is perfect with the long sleeves, and closed toe wedges, but it’s so easy to throw a vest or coat over the shirt, and add a scarf for when the weather gets colder.

One Simple Change: To transform this outfit into the nighttime, you can swap out the top for a dressier blouse. The jeans, necklace and wedges are perfect for dinner or a night out. By only switching the top it gives you a chance to make your outfit a little dressier while still staying comfortable and classy.
