WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

July 14th, 2015 at 2:05am

It’s a Friday night and you’re standing in front of your closet thinking “Is there an outfit I can wear to meet that cute guy at the coffee shop, dinner with friends and a rooftop party?” Well there is, and this Fashionista has found it!

Trying to find the perfect medium between too casual and too dressy is probably the most impossible and frustrating thing a fashion lover can do. If you wear that new bodycon dress you bought last week, you’d look great for dinner and a party, but your date may feel like you put in too much effort just for a coffee date. He’s right; save that for a more romantic evening. Then there’s the other side of the spectrum. You could show up in jeans and a T-shirt and be perfectly fine for that cup of coffee, but you wouldn’t want to show up to a party in that outfit. This is where the outfit of all outfits comes in.

This Fashionista has found a flirty boho-chic patterned top that could be dressed up or down. She pairs this intricate top with some killer light wash jeans to give it a bit of an edge, and I suggest every Fashionista/o to have a pair in their closet. Her fun sandals then give this outfit the option to be coffee shop or party ready. The accessories are top notch. She isn’t afraid to mix patterns and did so with her top and snakeskin Michael Kors purse. She adds the perfect accessories/necessities with her silver watch and black sunglasses.

This outfit is the definition of the “perfect medium.” Her jeans and sandals make it fun and casual while her top, purse and accessories bring a flirty and more dressed up approach. That cute boy will be dying for a second date while her friends will be dying for her fashion secrets!

One Simple Change: Feeling risky? Trade in those sandals for a pair with a killer heels to create a bolder look for a date night.
