WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

Finally, the weekend rolls around and we take a deep breath knowing that our time has come to relax, unwind and wear all the things that our jobs don’t allow us too. This glorious two day window lets us be free to run around and do whatever our commitment-free selves choose to do. Whether it’s shopping, attending sporting events, going to a movie or hanging with friends you’ve got 48 hours to break out that new shirt you’ve been dying to wear. Now, you could say sweatpants and a tank top are your weekend fit of choice and I wouldn’t be mad at you, not one bit. But if Netflix doesn’t consume your whole weekend than let me offer you a little inspiration *waves magic wand*.

You want something that doesn’t take too much effort (because, duh, you’ve been working so hard all week), but you also want something that says, “I know how to dress outside of my server uniform.” This Fashionista took a long butler tunic and threw a pair of RAD leather chain detail shorts under. She made the right move by balancing the top-heaviness of the outfit with a pair of tall gladiator sandals against her long legs. She wore maroon chandelier earrings that tactfully matched her cross-body bag; a bag small enough to run about in, but large enough to carry the essentials. And just like that, with no more than five garments and accessories, you too can become a team weekend enthusiast.

One Simple Change: Turn this look into a fall affair by exchanging the leather shorts for sexy leather pants and some black heel ankle booties. You could add more by turning the ponytail into a warm nest of hair on top of your head and throw on a earthy green infinity scarf to give more coverage.
