WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

June 5th, 2015 at 2:00am

Dressing for the weekend can be a real challenge. Some days, you’ll have to get up early to work in the studio, go to meetings, grab drinks with friends or spend the night out, all without ever going back to the house! Sometimes it can be tricky to figure out how to create an outfit suited for all your weekend needs. This week I spotted a Fashionista who nailed the weekend look with style.

I initially noticed this Fashionista for her witchy bohemian look. First, she wore a simple bell-sleeved dress. This style of dress is the perfect piece for any sort of weekend activity. The light material is great because you’ll stay comfortable no matter what you’re doing. The thin jersey material is great for staying cool and looks totally stylish. Once you’re out for the day, a dress like this is perfect for anything that might happen. By utilizing a black staple piece like this, she stays classic and cool. The vested dress on top adds another level to the outfit with patchwork patterns and a flowing cut.

Another thing I loved was how this Fashionista took her style to the next level with her accessories. A simple pair of heeled boots added a bit of glamour to her look. They went perfectly with the outfit and were definitely a piece I’d like to have in my closet. Her floppy hat was a great choice, and her John Lennon-esque sunglasses were a great choice, too! They definitely added a piece of her personality to the look and looked super cute! This Fashionista definitely had the perfect outfit for this weekend!

One Simple Change: You can easily make this look more minimalist by taking the vest off and putting on a pair of flat black boots. You’d be set for any day-to-day activity and you wouldn’t have to worry about being too dressed up.
