WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

Whether it’s hitting the books at the library, grabbing some Starbucks or getting lunch with friends, a true Fashionista never fails to dress appropriately for the occasion. Keeping it comfy and casual, our Fashionista rocked a boho-chic look. She paired her high-waisted floral jogger pants with a knotted white tank. Over her top, she sported a long gray knitted cardigan and finished her look with heeled buckled booties.

Bohemian-inspired jogger pants, or “fun pants” as our Fashionista likes to call them, are a must-have for spring fashion. Just like spring, these bottoms are a breath of fresh air. The lightweight, breathable cotton fabric gives these pants a flowy look, giving her outfit a vintage edge. The great thing about jogger pants is that they come in a variety of colors and patterns, giving you tons of options that allow you to shake up your wardrobe. These bottoms also offer an insane amount of comfort—perfect for a busy day of studying or lounging in the dorm. No matter where your weekend takes you, you are sure to have lots of fun while wearing your “fun pants!”

What better to pair these high-waisted joggers than with a simple white tied-up tank top? Keeping her look light and fun, our Fashionista coupled her boho pants with a white tank top and a knitted cardigan. Perfect for the spring weather, this outfit allows for flexibility; on a colder day, throw on a long cardigan to stay cozy. On a warm, sunny day, go without the cardigan and soak up some much needed sun.

Our Fashionista finished her look with heeled brown booties, adorned with a pair of buckles on the sides. The buckles give her outfit a rustic vibe while pulling her look together. These booties are the perfect match for her pants, as well. The cuff of her bottoms end an inch or two above the top of her booties, allowing her to show some skin and create separation in her outfit.

Needless to say, our Fashionista pulled off a sweet bohemian chic look that is absolutely perfect for a spring weekend! Using her “fun pants” as the staple piece of her outfit, she uses the white tank and knitted cardigan to tone down her look, giving it an earthy vibe. Topping it all off with simple brown booties, our Fashionista is ready to take on the weekend with her laid-back and free-spirited style!

One Simple Change: Is the weather too warm to wear booties? Rock flat shoes such as Mary Janes or TOMS shoes. You can also give your outfit a summery vibe by pairing it with your favorite sandals—perfect for a walk in the park on a lovely spring day.
