Weekends in Happy Valley can be filled with varieties of activities and our outfits have to be prepared for just that: versatility. With this time of the year, each day the weather is a complete surprise. Although it is officially spring now, Mother Nature seems to not have gotten the message. On this day we could still feel a bit of that winter chill in the air, but as the weekend rolls around we need our outfits to be ready for anything that Penn State has to throw at us.
This Fashionista really was ready to take on this cold spring day in style. Her look is very sleek and simple but versatile. The thick black coat with silver hardware and fur detailing on the inner collar is a new take on a classic college student look. Girls are always wearing the long down winter coats, as they are necessary to survive the brutal Pennsylvania winter, but this coat brings some style into that look with all of the small details.
Gray riding pants are an essential part of a spring wardrobe, on a cold day you can pair them with your favorite coat and boots without being too dark, like this Fashionista. But they are versatile enough to look great in warmer weather too, and one of the best parts about riding pants in my opinion is the comfort of leggings with added style. This Fashionista is ready for her day in Happy Valley with these riding pants. But to top off the whole look she has her black riding boots with the silver hardware on the buckle to match the hardware on the coat.
This Fashionista is prepared to take on this early spring day in an outfit that is adorable for spring and practical for the cold weather we are still experiencing. So maybe Mother Nature will get the news that it’s supposed to be warm outside now and we will no longer need our long winter coats.
