WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

What to Wear

The weekend, a seven letter word that never seems to disappoint a college student. The weekend is a time to relax and unwind from a hectic week. It’s an occasion for Fashionistas to pull out their kate spade agenda books/iPhone calendars and see what fabulous plans they have in store.

Mother Nature seems to be working her magic in the state of Arizona. It’s been bright and sunny with temperatures in the high 70s. With this beautiful weather, Fashionistas are breaking out light and airy dresses, high-waisted shorts and Ray-Ban sunnies.

This Fashionista screams California swag and a fun weekend waiting to happen. This tall, blonde beauty is working a relaxed look. She is on-trend with layering and also showing off an oversized coral sweater from Free People. I must say she is radiating good vibes.

Underneath her sweater is a cream “Jada” dress from Brandy Melville. This ensemble is perfect for any weekend plans during the day. Her knitted sweater makes a great pair with  the pretty and simple dress. I also like how she rolled up the sleeves of her sweater to make it look more chunky and breezy for the warmer weather.

She pairs her outfit with cognac Steve Madden boots and knee-high, lace detailed socks from Free People. To top it all off, she is wearing a pair of the infamous original aviator Ray-Bans. I love Ray-Bans. They are a versatile pair of sunglasses that look great on anybody. The dark lens sunnies this Fashionista is wearing are perfect for a bright and sunny weekend.

Lastly, making a statement is always a must for a Fashionista and this Fashionista makes a statement with her luxurious leather backpack from John Hart. She also adds a hint of personalization with her initials engraved into the leather. Just a little touch of a leather accessory can never hurt an outfit.

One Simple Change: Slip on a bright colored bikini underneath and swap the boots with a pair of patent leather flip flops for a fun in the sun outfit by the pool.
