WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

March 29th, 2016 at 2:00am

I had to catch this dapper stylin’ dude on the fly because he had things to do. Classes to go to, diving practice to attend, doctor appointments for an offset clavicle? Not sure of the details, all I know is he runs around like a mad man on a day-to-day basis, but still manages to keep an edgy look about him. This lad is clearly a trendsetter, sporting his color blocked button-down, made of a very light linen that was just lovely for the not so subtle heat moving in. Adding the fastening of the top button gives the look a preppy touch.

Hold the applause…

He also pairs his subtle summer button down with cuffed denim cutoffs and Blundstones with cool socks peeping, always the move. This combination brings out the weekend warriors in anyone with effortless ease. It has the perfect balance of casual and hip. The tortoise round sunnies aren’t bad either! Is it just me, or has he stepped straight out of one of those Urban Outfitters look books featuring the raddest people that we all wish we had friends like? The adventuring punks that always find their ways to the most remote destinations and with hottest cliques involved. Man, this is him I swear.

Let us not forget the final touch of the classic baseball cap but with a spin on it. The cap is a timeless classic that reoccurs every summer season modified in different patterns, but this guy keeps it classic with a gray and black minimalist look.

One Simple Change: Add in a pastel paisley bow tie to transition from day attire to a night out and a pair of cuffed slacks to get the appropriate attention at the bar.
