WHAT TO WEAR: Vacation

September 8th, 2015 at 2:00am

One of the best parts of the school year is going on a break. With a break comes some tough packing. It’s always hard choosing which clothes and accessories you want to take home. It usually comes to over packing and sitting on your suitcase trying to zip it closed. During warmer months, packing is a little easier considering clothing is usually lighter and can be styled in a lot of ways. I am writing this post from Virginia Beach where I am on a family vacation and lucky enough to have the chance to take pictures on the beach!

This Fashionista has the perfect outfit for a trip to the beach. Her Lilly Pulitzer for Target jumpsuit in the pattern “boom boom” is light and loose and great for a hot, sunny day. It can also be quickly thrown over a bathing suit, so you don’t have to worry about having multiple articles of clothing at the beach. A romper or a jumpsuit is a smart thing to pack because you can wear it for different activities, like going to the beach or walking the boardwalk!

Lilly Pulitzer makes for a fashionable look with its recognized styles and patterns. Besides the fact that rompers and jumpsuits are totally making a comeback, this look specifically is RAD for summer because of the bright colors and palm tree pattern.

Samantha styled her jumpsuit with white Jack Rogers Capri sandals, some brown sunglasses and a set of brown beaded bracelets. Unfortunately, the exact jumpsuit is sold out, but you can shop a similar style here.

One Simple Change: Whether you’re on vacation or not, this look can work as a wonderful brunch outfit. Add a simple cardigan and some wedges to dress the look up and head out to brunch with family or friends!
