WHAT TO WEAR: Vacation

But seriously, Kayne’s right. “How you gon’ be mad on vacation?” There’s nothing better than a restful trip to the beach during summertime. We all know it can be hard to pack, and better yet, find outfits for the beach and dinner everyday. It’s very critical that you keep your looks casual and comfortable while away. Vacation is a time of relaxation rather than a time of running around.

I spotted this Fashionista who was able to maintain a trendy look even while wearing her swimsuit. She had on a black romper with thin straps that fall slightly off the shoulder. This romper works as her cover-up for the day. A cover-up is a definite must-have for the beach in case you want to go out for a bite to eat and don’t have time to change beforehand. Under this Fashionista’s romper, you can see the top of her bikini. It’s a strapless bandeau that has a cool, psychedelic, floral design. The back of the top has a bunch of criss-cross straps that make for an interesting detail.

To complete the look, she added a few minor accessories that created a major statement. The piece that grabbed my attention immediately was her sunglasses. The hot pink chrome lenses were super bright making them beyond perfect for summer. As well as the glasses, the baseball cap is an awesome beach essential. They are very in style right now and help to shade your face from the hot sun. This Fashionista is rocking a white Vineyard Vines hat that adds a preppy touch to this totally laid-back outfit. Lastly, she wore a pair of platform Birkenstock style sandals to pull the entire look together.

Dressed like she is, this Fashionista is fully prepared for a day of tanning and swimming at the beach.

One Simple Change: Feel like going to brunch with a few friends? Well, replace your bikini top with a simple white bandeau, keeping the look casual but still beach wearable.
